Well...this is my first post on my new blog address.Sooo...apa yang mau saya ceritakan yah..???
Oya, weekend yang lalu saya lagi beresin kardus kardus di garasi. Eh..ternyata ga sengaja saya temukan buku latihan memanah saya.Ketika saya aduk aduk lagi isi kardusnya,ternyata saya temukan lebih banyak lagi pernak pernik panahan saya.Antara lain buku panduan Ilmu Dasar Memanah, Finger tabs, chest guard,arm guard n ban dalam sepeda yang sering saya pake untuk latihan di kosan.Ban dalam sepeda????? Yup! Ban dalam memang digunakan untuk melatih otot lengan dengan cara ditarik tarik seperti orang menarik tali busur.
Melihat itu semua membuat saya rindu sekali dengan hari hari ketika saya berlatih panahan di kampus IPB.Sebenernya keterlibatan saya dalam UKM (Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa) Panahan diawali dengan niat yang iseng. Hehehe...dulunya cuma sekedar untuk mengisi waktu di sela sela kegiatan penelitian saya untuk menyusun tugas akhir. Eh..nyatanya setelah ngerasain latihan, saya malah keranjingan dan jadi jatuh cinta pada olahraga ini. Ingin tau siapa tokoh yang saya kagumi dalam olahraga ini? Legolas dalam Lord of The Ring.. Hehehe..Tokoh fiktif siih..tapi benar2 mempesonakan saya..
Oke, saya ingin bercerita sedikit tentang archery. Pertama equipment-nya. Archery equipment terdiri dari Busur (Bow) dan Anak panah (Arrow). Busur sendiri bisa dibagi menjadi 2 :
Busur FITA (Federation International de Tir A L'arc)
Busur tradisional.
Kalo Busur FITA terbuat dari bahan fiberglass, sedangkan busur tradisional biasanya terbuat dari bambu (untuk dahan busur) dan kayu (untuk bow handle). Busur FITA juga terbagi 2 :
Compound Bow yang pake katrol di ujung2 dahan busurnya
Recurve Bow yang tanpa katrol.

Tapi yang sering saya gunakan untuk latihan adalah Busur FITA jenis Recurve Bow karena lebih ringan dan mudah menggunakannya.
Equipment yang kedua adalah Arrow alias anak panah. Sudah pernah liat kan??? Buat yang belum pernah liat, ini contoh gambarnya.

Selain equipment, ada pula archery accessories, ya yang seperti saya katakan di awal tulisan. Jadi asesori dasar panahan antara lain :
Chest guards ; digunakan untuk melindungi dada dari lentingan tali busur yang mungkin mengenai dada ketika melepas anak panah. Dipakai di salah satu sisi dada yang sama dengan tangan kita yang memegang busur. Juga untuk mencegah pakaian kita menghalangi release-nya tali busur.
Finger tabs ; digunakan pada jari untuk melindungi kulit jari dari tali busur dan juga agar lebih mudah melepas anak panah. Jadi begini caranya finger tabs digunakan : Gambar diambil dari moc.co.nz
Arm guard ; digunakan di lengan yang memegang busur untuk melindungi dari lentingan tali busur.

Naahh...sekarang tentang target (sasaran). Target pun dibedakan untuk ronde indoor atau ronde outdoor. Kalo outdoor, biasanya digunakan target dengan diameter 121.8 cm.Sedangkan untuk indoor biasanya diameternya lebih kecil (aduh..maaf tapi saya lupa tepatnya berapa...). well maruria ini bukan 100% murni komentar mungkin 90% adalah pertanyaan , finally sy dapat sedikit info tentang panahan...lebih tepatnya "ANAK PANAH"...well ada pertanyaan (90%nya mulai) biasanya kalau di film (termasuk LOTR) panahan menggunakan bulu ayam yang kalau dilihat berbentuk tanda + (dari belakang)...apa seh kegunaanya (apakah untuk membantu "mengarahkan/tetap diudara" seperti ekor sayap pada pesawat)dan kalau kita misal hilangkan salah satu bagianya apakah berpengaruh pada arahnya (kinda silly question seh)...well quite an interesting hobby...and such and interesting Blog (ini sisa 10%nya) hehehhe

Mba,saya KIN anak 42 IPB skrg megang ketua ukm panahan....bener deh yang cinta panahan pasti kebawa walaupun dah lulus juga...Kapan-kapan klo mampir ke Bogor jgn lupa mampir ke Panahan ya Mba tiap sabtu-minggu kita masih rutin latihan. Kita dah ngadain kejurnas panahn indoor maba maret 2007 rame...bgt n yang terakhir desember kemarin kita juara umum ke-4 dari seluruh Universitas yang ikut di Kejurnas Panahan Outdoor. Pokoknya seru mba Ka Livson, Ka Ulum n Ka Ode msh aktif mba...Teh Ipah udah lulus n dah balik ke kampung halamannya di subang... Itu tuh kayak setirnya anak panah. jadi kalo salah satu dihilangkan, arahnya bisa melenceng. Bahkan kalo ni bulu ada yang rusak dikit aja, udah bisa bikin arahnya ga tepat.
